For many years, we had had a drainage problem with surface storm water running down a shallow slope from allotments behind our garden and pooling toward our house in London. Although this never threatened the house itself, it was an inconvenience for much of the year while I manually pumped away the flood into a nearby drain. It also made our desire to construct a garden building at the end of the garden potentially problematic, with some ingress also pooling at this end.

Matt from MDB assessed the problem, emailed a clear, detailed, and cost-effective proposal involving a boundary drain running into extensive perimeter and lateral drainage runs, a sump and pump, and an exit route under the patio and directly into the drain mentioned earlier. MDB came to do the work in October 2021 and completed 2 weeks.

Throughout this time, they worked tirelessly and efficiently, and were good humoured and dogged even when running into snags.
