DRIVEWAYS FOR SURREY AND HAMPSHIRE

Driveways can be both aesthetically pleasing and practical depending upon the size of the given area, surroundings, its use and house style.

MDB Landscapes design and install simple, practical driveways and others with more detailed design to help integration into the garden and local surroundings.

Block paving, tarmac, decorative aggregates, resin bound gravels, shingle, natural stone including granite and sandstone setts, permeable block paving, clay pavers and concrete driveways are a few examples. We also install concrete hard standings for equine use.

A small driveway in E. Sussex. The remit here supplied by the client was for a block paved driveway to replace their existing old concrete hard standing and pathway.

The original width and levels of the driveway made for difficult access. The new driveway layout reduced the fall down into the driveway and with increased width, easier access.

Block paving used was Marshall’s Driveline 50 Burnt Ochre.

An increase in parking space was required for this client in Wonersh, Guildford, Surrey. A new block paved driveway using Marshall’s Drivesett Tegula Traditional block paving in three sizes was proposed, with surface linear driveway drainage and planting borders included.

Additional works on this project also included rear garden drainage.

The remit given by this client in Sandhurst, Berkshire was to create both an area of front paving that could also be used for a hardstanding for parking and withstand vehicular traffic due to its proximity to the narrow private road.

Mint sandstone cropped setts 100x100mm were proposed and used to great affect. Reinforced concrete bases were laid behind strong Marshalls Conservation Harvest Buff kerbs to with stand the weight of vehicular traffic and the possibility of vehicles parking off road, due to the narrow road.

This site and project struggled for material storage areas and proved to be challenge.
